I think that the most important thing in relationship, not only between man and woman, but with children and parent or frind - is a respect. Without this factor all phases can be broken and generally the relationship may not take place at the first stage, collapsing in the root of dirt and indifference, what is generally called disrespect. I am not the psychology master, but I think all people should understand the fundamental bases of respectful communication and attentiveness to people, before entering into any relationship. In all families the term of right relations is different and generally men are polygamous, so from the one side may be it is a manifestation of instincts, would love to hear opinion about it too.
